My journey

I was born in northern Poland, spent my childhood in Morocco and my adult life in Switzerland. These different cultures have inspired my vision of the world and my cooking of course! Above all, they have given me a taste for discovery, contact with others and an inner strength based on adapting to life's movements.

Today, I am the creator of the "cooking on a campfire in the great outdoors"experiences, a teacher of nutrition education, and a self-taught cook with a passion for cooking and culinary photography. These different activities reflect my professional and private background: I worked for several years as a project manager in human resources and developed in parallel my passion for cooking and photography.

I am also an outdoor enthusiast; a family heritage thanks to my nomadic parents, but also and above all a passion for the mountains and their way of life, an essential component of my balance.

On this site, it is a little of this life journey that you will find throughout the pages: recipes tested and approved by my family, (always hungry but never compromising on quality) outdoor cooking events and finally my taste for transmission in a good mood!

Follow my culinary (and other) adventures on my Instagram account, come join me to cook a menu together over a fire pit, or else, write me a message, just to say hello. I will always be happy to hear from you.

That's all my soul needed this day ...🌨️#wintermood #mountainslife #slowlifestyle
It's January in the garden...I wanted to do lots of things in the garden at the start of winter, but nature decided otherwise. So I enjoyed two hours of pure laziness. By the time I'd warmed up the garden shed (the water had frozen in the bottle, even inside), made myself a cup of herbal tea and realized that I had a mountain of little seeds to sow this spring, it was time to enjoy the moment. I had planned to make a sowing calendar, but oh well. So much for that. It snowed and it's pretty to look at. Sometimes bad weather is nice. Do you ever get lazy in the middle of the week? If not, try it. Just for a little while.#slowlife #wintergarden #gardenlife
I wish you a year 2026 above the clouds...May 2026 bring you a little closer to your most secret dreams and bring you joy, love and serenity! Happy New Year! 🎈
Sometimes we chase dreams that others call pipe dreams... And sometimes we're tempted to agree with the killjoys. We shouldn't. I dreamed of a «cottage garden» with its borders, fruit and vegetable areas and even a little meditation corner. It was a lot to ask of a neglected city kitchen garden. But... in 3 years, patience has paid off as much as vision. Isn't this border beautiful? Just before the year comes to an end, I wanted to share these thoughts with you, because in 2026, another dream will accompany the garden: I'm launching Substack to write you more. So much more. I hope you'll follow me on this more literary adventure too. But I'll tell you all about it in a future post. I'll just have to be patient ;-) #gardentransformation #jardindecuré #cottagegarden
Merry Christmas! May this day bring you light, joy and sweetness 💫
2025, the year when...It was a very special year for me. Windows opened, others gently closed. A lovely project I'd been keeping in the back of my mind took shape. I'm looking forward to what's to come, what I hope for and what I don't expect. What's your story? Tell me about it! #2025 #cottagelife #slowlife #happylifestyle
What day owes to night...We've reached the shortest, darkest days of the year, and at first glance, there's nothing to see in the garden. Everyone is asleep. And yet!...The garden shed diffuses its golden light, the cabbages glisten in the half-light, and the last apples strive to look appetizing, despite obvious difficulties. The garden in these last days of the year is not always beautiful. But it is mysterious, touching and full of dreams yet to be formulated. Does it feel like just before the holidays, the whole world is galloping like a headless knight? Well, so do I. To stop this mad rush, if only for a moment, I observe the garden. And suddenly, all is well again. Tell me about yours, and why it makes you feel good. #garden #gardenlife #wintergarden
This afternoon, while chatting with a friend, I told her that I felt I hadn't done much in the garden this year. Which is absolutely not true. But when you're immersed in the action, you don't realize how far you've come. So I've decided to do a little retrospective... 2025 and all the history of the terrace will be in my newsletter. You'll need to subscribe, of course. #jardindecuré #slowlife #slowdeco
