My journey

I was born in northern Poland, spent my childhood in Morocco and my adult life in Switzerland. These different cultures have inspired my vision of the world and my cooking of course! Above all, they have given me a taste for discovery, contact with others and an inner strength based on adapting to life's movements.

Today, I am the creator of the "cooking on a campfire in the great outdoors"experiences, a teacher of nutrition education, and a self-taught cook with a passion for cooking and culinary photography. These different activities reflect my professional and private background: I worked for several years as a project manager in human resources and developed in parallel my passion for cooking and photography.

I am also an outdoor enthusiast; a family heritage thanks to my nomadic parents, but also and above all a passion for the mountains and their way of life, an essential component of my balance.

On this site, it is a little of this life journey that you will find throughout the pages: recipes tested and approved by my family, (always hungry but never compromising on quality) outdoor cooking events and finally my taste for transmission in a good mood!

Follow my culinary (and other) adventures on my Instagram account, come join me to cook a menu together over a fire pit, or else, write me a message, just to say hello. I will always be happy to hear from you.

I used to think peace was something you earned after the chaos. And sometimes, life feels really like total chaos. Turns out, it's something you build, one garden, one project, one small cooking adventure at a time. If you've been dreaming of your own cozy life, of outdoor adventures, even in the city, even after 50, it's possible. Maybe it doesn't start with a plan. Maybe it starts with a need. A need to breathe, to touch the earth, to smell the fire, to create beauty with your hands again. If you feel the same, follow along. I think you'll feel at home here. #slowlivingforlife #outdoorcooking #gardenlife
For my shed, I wanted to create an exterior that was as attractive and comfortable as the interior. However, it wasn't always easy. At times, I had to be quite persistent. Today, I've made good progress, even though I still have some slightly crazy projects in mind. And I understand better now the dismayed looks on my loved ones« faces when I showed them »a shed with a magnificent terrace, you won't believe your eyes.« »Mmmhh," my father whispered, trying to be kind. If I had to do it all over again? I would do it in a heartbeat. Because nothing is more precious than building your dreams. Stick by stick, like birds building their nests. If you're wondering whether it's possible to start a country life in your 50s while still living in the city, I can now answer that question with a resounding yes. I would even add that you're in for an extraordinary adventure. #cottagecore #cottagecoreaesthetic #cottagelifestyle
An old milk ladle, a modern IKEA frame, and a cabin that loves objects with stories to tell. A love story between a big milk ladle and me... When I bought this big ladle, I had absolutely no idea what I was going to do with it. I was at a country flea market, holding it in my hands. The lady selling it looked at me and said, “I'm very sad to sell it. I've always used it to pour milk after milking. But today, I can no longer use my hands—I have arthritis. I can't work anymore, so I'm selling it. Please take good care of it for me.” Of course, I tried not to cry and quickly bought the ladle. It waited for years... and one day, I hung it up among my drying herbs. A gesture that just came naturally. I like the idea that it’s now enjoying a happy retirement at my place, in my garden. I also love this mix of a modern IKEA frame with that old ladle. I like living surrounded by objects that whisper stories… don’t you?🥛🥛🥛An old ladle, an IKEA photo frame, and a cabin where we love objects that tell stories… A love story between a large milk ladle and me... Autumn just slipped in without warning…Did you manage to say goodbye to summer? If not, there’s always Ibiza. But if you don’t really miss the heat that much, come along. We’ll breathe in the scent of wet leaves, plant apple trees in the garden, feast on figs, and add pears to our Aperitivo (which will only make it more elegant). Oh, and of course, refresh the home décor a little. And then… when we’re hungry, we’ll cook Tuscan and Piedmontese dishes, because we love a good simmer! So… are you in for this autumn plan?🌻🍇🌻And then suddenly, just like that, without really announcing itself, autumn showed up…Did you have time to say goodbye to summer? If you can't, you can always escape to Ibiza. If, in the end, you don't miss the heat that much, I'll take you to breathe in the wet leaves, plant apple trees in the garden, devour figs, and add pears to your Aperitivo, which will only make it more elegant. Oh, and you can also change up your home decor a little. And then... when we get hungry, we'll cook Tuscan and Piedmontese dishes, because we love to simmer!
