Here's something to prove the prejudice wrong. In my mom's cookbook (which most women of her generation own), I discovered over 30 recipes for salads, with all kinds of vegetables. This one is with radishes and potatoes, because it's in season.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Polish food and my mother's vexed looks<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>I think I have already told you that my mother is very patriotic, even a little chauvinistic. The prejudice about the poor taste of Polish food, and the fact that it is not suitable for keeping a family healthy, has always upset her. When I was younger, I was a bit annoyed by it. The whole world had eyes only for the Mediterranean diet, and like everyone else, I thought that all other food had to be banned, or else I would end up dead of cardiovascular diseases. Finally, the need to go local arrived. Things started to change, and northern cuisine became the order of the day. My mom solemnly handed me her favorite cookbook. The one that ultimately kept us all very healthy, and addicted to good food. After <strong>semolina and strawberry mousse<\/strong>So here is the potato salad with radishes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Potato and radish salad<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>This recipe is above all extremely practical. On the one hand, it can be largely prepared in advance, except for the radishes, which are added at the last moment so that they remain crunchy. On the other hand, it is complete, since it contains eggs. It is easy to take with you on a walk or at work. The original recipe is rich in mayonnaise, which I replaced with Greek yogurt.
